How private is my order, and how do I keep my order code safe?

You can buy from SilentSIM without an account. When you pay with crypto, an email address is optional. Instead, you get an order code.

What we keep

• Your order code has 16 letters and numbers, like ABCD-EFGH-JKMN-PQRS. It opens your order and your eSIM from any device, on our Find your order page.
• We keep only a one-way fingerprint of the code, never the code itself. Nobody can look your code up, including us.
• If you give an email, we use it to send your eSIM and updates about your order.
• We don't ask for travel or identity documents to buy a standard eSIM, unless the law, a network, a payment review or fraud prevention requires them.
• Crypto payments are recorded on a public blockchain, which anyone can see.

Keep your code safe

1. Save it as soon as you've paid: use Copy code or Save as a file, and keep it somewhere private.
2. Treat it like a password. Anyone with your code, or your eSIM's QR code, can open your order and install your eSIM.
3. Never share it with anyone, not even our support team. We will never ask you for it.
4. The browser you paid in remembers your order, so it can open it without the code. On a shared or public computer, clear that browser's cookies and site data when you're done.

Getting help without your code

To help with an order, we need one of these instead:

• the order number shown at the top of your order page (it is not your order code);
• the link to your order's payment page (the link doesn't contain your code);
• the transaction ID (hash) from your wallet;
• your eSIM's ICCID, found in your phone's settings.

Never send your seed phrase or private keys either. Contact support.

If you lose your code

If you gave an email, your eSIM details are in that email. If you didn't, we can't recover the code for you.

If your eSIM is already installed, you can still add data without the code: top up with your eSIM's ICCID.

Ordering over Tor

SilentSIM also runs an official Tor onion site. Its address and steps are at silentsim.net/tor. Compare every character of the address before you use it, bookmark it, and use the bookmark to come back.
