Paying with crypto, step by step
You can pay with crypto straight from your own wallet.
Coins and networks
- Bitcoin (BTC)
- Ethereum (ETH)
- USDT on Ethereum (ERC-20)
- USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20)
- USDT on Tron (TRC-20)
The checkout lists only the coins and networks available right now.
Steps
- On the plan page, choose Pay with crypto.
- Choose a coin and network, then continue.
- The next page shows the exact amount, the address, the network and a QR code. The rate is locked, and the request stays open for 30 minutes.
- Send exactly that amount, of that coin, on that network. Most wallets can scan the QR code to fill in the address and amount.
- Tap the button to say you've sent it. If you can, paste the transaction ID (hash).
- We check the transaction on the blockchain, and the page updates on its own once it's confirmed. How long that takes depends on the network.
If you gave an email, your eSIM is also emailed to you and appears on your order page. Your email is optional. The payment page shows your order code: save it, because it is how you open your order and eSIM later. Never send your order code to anyone, support included.
Send the right thing
- The exact amount. If you send less, the order is not completed. If you send more, contact support: an overpayment has to be sorted out by hand.
- The right network. USDT on Ethereum (ERC-20) and USDT on Tron (TRC-20) are different. A payment sent on another network (for example Arbitrum, BNB Chain or Polygon) is not seen and is not credited.
- The right coin. Send USDT only to a USDT request. Another coin (for example USDC) sent to that address is not credited.
- The right address. Crypto payments can't be reversed.
- Sending from an exchange? Make sure its withdrawal fee doesn't reduce the amount that arrives.
If the request expires or your payment doesn't show
- Don't send anything to an expired request. Go back and start a new one at the current rate.
- Already sent it? On the payment page, use Paid, but it is not showing? and enter the transaction ID. We check it on the blockchain.
- Never share your wallet's seed phrase or private keys with anyone.
Crypto also works for top-ups. You can have up to 3 crypto payment requests open at once.
